Abia State’s Governor Alex Otti has inaugurated the Abia State Orientation Agency, aiming to spearhead attitudinal and systemic change in the region.
Otti emphasized the importance of fostering a socially responsible citizenry to complement leadership efforts in achieving socioeconomic transformation.
Former education minister Oby Ezekwesili advised the government to prioritize integrity and efficient resource management.
The agency’s director-general, Dike Nwankwo, highlighted the significance of character remoulding alongside infrastructural development.
The inauguration coincided with the commemoration of Abia’s 32nd anniversary since its creation in 1991.
