1. Dental Hygienist
A dental hygienist cleans teeth, checks for oral diseases such as gingivitis, and provides other preventive dental care. They also educate patients on ways to improve and maintain good oral health.
You will work alongside dentists to provide quality dental care. Dental hygienists usually work full time, Monday through Friday during daytime hours.
Most dental hygiene programs last 2 years but can be completed in 18 months or less. If you are already a licensed dentist or registered nurse you may qualify for one of the shorter options.
