September 05, (THEWILL) – Fidelity Bank Plc has said it will pay an interim dividend of twenty-five kobo per share to its shareholders on September 22, 2023, and that the dividends will be subject to the appropriate withholding tax.
“Shareholders with dividend warrants and share certificates that have remained unclaimed or are yet to be presented for payment or returned or for validation are advised to complete the e-dividend registration form or contact the Registrar,” the bank said in the corporate disclosure published by the Nigerian Exchange on Tuesday.
“An Interim Dividend of N0.25 (twenty-five kobo) per Ordinary Share of N0.50 each subject to the appropriate Withholding Tax, will be paid to shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members at the close of business on September 15, 2023, subject to the appropriate withholding tax.
Fidelity Bank reported Gross Earnings of N247.1 billion for the 6 months period ending June 30, 2023, up by 59.58% from N154.84 billion reported the previous year.
It said that only the shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members as at September 15, are eligible for the dividend payment.
