Lagos arrests wicked father for assaulting son over inability to recite Quran (pmnewsnigeria.com)

The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) has arrested a wicked father for allegedly assaulting his son over his inability to recite the Quran.

The agency said it received a report from a mandated reporter of an 11yearold boy (names withheld) who was physically assaulted by his father.

The name of the boys father was simply given as Shakirullah.

The Agency, in a statement, issued by Adejoke LadeneganOginni, said the father allegedly meted out this assault on the survivor because he had not been able to recite the Quran.
