The anti-impeachment suit against Obaseki was brought by the Deputy Governor at a High Court in Abuja.
With that in mind, “I, Rt. Hon. (Comrade) Philip Shaibu, have authorized and instructed my solicitors to withdraw the suit forthwith,” he said.
The governor’s efforts to have him impeached were the subject of a lawsuit with case number FHC/ABJ/CS/1027/2023.
