The Spotlights

The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ebonyi, has debunked reports that it has nominated former Governor David Umahi’s brother, Austin, to replace him in the Senate.

The party’s chairman said that the APC will conduct a credible primary to elect a candidate who will be acceptable to it and the people.

“The governor has, through his policies, started justifying the confidence reposed in him by the people as they knew his capabilities before electing him,” he said.

Mr Okoro-Emegha said that the party and Ebonyi people are still celebrating Umahi’s appointment as the minister of works.
