About 134,000 unused PVCs have been stockpiled by INEC in the state of Imo’s 27 local government council secretariats.
I recommend that those in the Orsu Local Government Area visit the state office in Owerri to pick up their PVCs, while others in the rest of Imo should visit the INEC offices in their respective council areas.
Prof. Sylvia Agu, INEC’s Resident Electoral Commissioner in Owerri, told reporters on Wednesday that the commission had began issuing PVCs for the election on September 11 and that it will do so until October 9.
According to her, “INEC has gone the extra mile to gather the phone numbers of owners of uncollected PVCs in Bayelsa, Imo, and Kogi to send bulk SMS to them.”
