President Bola Tinubu is facing increasing pressure to respect the results of the March 18 governorship election in Kano state, a move thought crucial for Nigeria’s political stability and unity. 

The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja would be delivering its verdict on the redress sought by Governor Yusuf over his sacking by the Kano state governorship election petition tribunal.

As reported by Leadership, this appeal to the president emerged on Wednesday, November 15, just as the Court of Appeal prepared to deliver its verdict on the tribunal judgment that previously ousted Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
