The wait for Apple’s highly anticipated iPhone 15 Pro Max may be longer than expected as reports claim that the iPhone 15 Pro Max/Ultra will arrive 3-4 weeks later than the other models.
The Apple iPhone 15 series announcement was expected to take place on September 13, with pre-orders opening on September 15, and deliveries should commence seven days after that.
However, with the new development of a possible three to four-week delay, the Pro Max deliveries could be pushed between October 6th and October 13th.
According to reports, the delay is due to the inability of a source company to meet the timeline of supplying a component .

Analysts have said the Pro Max member of the iPhone 15 family will be the first smartphone with a periscope camera.
The exclusive periscope zoom lens brings a big distinguishing leap in zoom performance of the phone.
one analyst, This new feature is now causing a delay as Sony is allegedly unable to supply enough sensors on the timeline.
The disruption is likely to push the iPhone 15 Pro Max deliveries back by four weeks according to 9to5Mac.
Meanwhile, different leasks on the phone have continued to color the images in the minds of the excited and anticipating users.
Speaking of color, a leak from an Apple insider, Unknownz21 revealed that the iPhone 15 has been tested in 6 colors.
His post on X (tweeter) reads ;
“These are the colors that were tested on the base model iPhone 15, throughout different development stages:
– Pink / Rose Gold / Blush Gold
– Green
– Blue
– Yellow
– Orange (inconsistent mentions)
– Black / Midnight / Dark / Basalt
We should see at least some of these”
Even though not all test colors would make it out to the market, some of the colors can be expected.
Also,it was leaked that Apple may be planning to accompany each of the devices in the iPhone 15 lineup with a color-matched braided USB-C to USB-C cable for the first time.
With the exception of the black version, each of the cables has a glossy white plastic shell at either end.
The braided USB-C cables come with strain relief tubes.
9to5Mac, claims that the transition to USB-C will equip the iPhone 15 range with charging speeds of up to 35W.
This represents a 40-50% increase on the iPhone 13 (23W) and iPhone 14 (25W) and a 30% increase on the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 Pro Max (both 27W).
This would mean a quick charging of 0-50% in 30 minutes!
In addition to these leaks, Forbes reported , “iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus buyers will see an iPhone 14 Pro-inspired upgrade with a Dynamic Island design, A16 chip and matching 48-megapixel primary camera. The iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max (possibly now Ultra) will move to a titanium chassis, a new solid-state Action button and record breakingly-thin bezels”
