The death of Moses is still like a mystery to me because when I look at what happened yesterday it is still strange.
Moses elder brother, Patrick, also confirmed his brothers death, describing it as a dream.
I cant believe that my brother is gone just like that, he said.
The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed the killing and said the matter, which he described as cultrelated, was under investigation.
The police are aware of this matter and an investigation has commenced.
Gunmen have killed a 24yearold man, Moses Joseph, in Igode, Ogijo, the Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun State.
The deceased, an indigene of Benue State, was shot to death on Tuesday night, April 18.
Moses sisterinlaw, Morenikeji, told Punch that the deceased was outside their house at Fakile in the Igode community, Ogijo when the assailants opened fire on him.
She said, Moses is my husbands younger brother.
We rushed him to the hospital but by the time we got there, he was already dead.
We reported the case at Igode Police Station yesterday (April 18).
