The scholarship is $15,000, renewable annually in the second, third and fourth year at the University of Calgary, provided recipients achieve a GPA of 2.60 or more over a minimum of 24.00 units in the previous fall and winter terms. The total amount over 4 years of undergraduate program is $60,000.

Requirements

To be eligible for the University of Calgary International Entrance Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Applicants must be international students who are not Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
  • Applicants must have applied for admission to an undergraduate program at the University of Calgary.
  • Applicants must have outstanding academic achievements. Applicants must have achieved a minimum grade of A- or equivalent in their previous academic studies.
  • Applicants must demonstrate leadership qualities and community involvement.
    Applicants must not have previously enrolled in any degree programs at the University of Calgary.
