  • You must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for all courses taken in your secondary education.
  • You must have completed 6 AP courses or their equivalent before applying to Bishop’s University for admission as an international student. These include AP English Language and Composition; AP Macroeconomics; AP Microeconomics; AP European History; AP US History; and AP Calculus AB or BC.

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must have a GPA above 3.5 on a 4 point scale, and have completed at least one year of study at their current institution. Bishop’s University also require two letters of recommendation from professors who can speak to your academic abilities. The importance of getting a free scholarship is that it helps make education more accessible for people who might not otherwise be able to afford it on their own.   8. The Economist Scholarship: Awarded to an international student who has an interest in economic policy making and is proficient in written and oral communication skills in both English and their native language.
  9. The David Hume Scholarship: This award recognizes excellence in scholarship, leadership ability, and contributions to the academic community. It is given annually to one or two outstanding undergraduate students majoring in economics or political science with an interest in philosophy.
  10. The John Kenneth Galbraith Scholarship: This award recognizes excellence in scholarship, leadership ability, and contributions to the academic community. It is given annually to one or two outstanding undergraduate students majoring in economics or political science with an interest in public policy analysis.
