  1. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with a GPA of 3.0 or higher in your final year of study
  2. One year of undergraduate-level coursework in calculus (or its equivalent), macroeconomics, microeconomics, and statistics (or their equivalents)
  3. English proficiency equivalent to IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 87
  4. Two letters of recommendation from professors or other academic professionals who can speak to your ability as a student and thinker.

How much does it cost to Study Economics in Nipissing University?

Nipissing University is one of the most expensive universities in Canada. The cost of studying here is three times as much as it would be at other universities in the country.

The application fee alone costs $150, and then there’s also tuition fees that amount to $6,000 per year if you live on campus or $7,000 if you live off campus. Additionally, there are a number of other fees that add up to make this school even more expensive than it seems at first glance. For example, there’s a library fee ($50 per year), an activity fee ($200 per year), a student union fee ($50 per year), and so on. All these extra costs add up quickly, making Nipissing University one of the most expensive universities in Canada!

Nipissing University offers fully funded scholarships to international students who study economics at our school.

It’s important to note that only students who study economics can receive this offer; if you don’t study this specific subject then you won’t be eligible for the scholarship.   5. Wealthy Family Scholarship: This scholarship is given to students whose parents have an annual household income of less than $150,000 USD per year. Students must have at least an 80% average in their economics classes and must be pursuing a degree in economics or finance.
  6. John Doe Memorial Scholarship: This scholarship is given to students who have lost someone close to them due to violence or suicide; applicants must submit a copy of the death certificate along with their application. Students must have an 80% average in their economics classes and must be pursuing a degree in economics or finance.
  7. Scholarship for First Generation College Students: This scholarship is given to students who are the first person in their family to go to college; applicants must include proof that they are the first generation in their family to go to college (for example, your parents’ tax returns showing that neither parent went past high school). Students must have an 80% average in their economics classes and must be pursuing a degree in economics or finance.
