  8. The Barry L. Marwick Scholarship: This award is given annually to an outstanding student from outside North America who is entering his or her first year at the University of British Columbia’s Faculty of Medicine. It is awarded based on academic merit and need for financial assistance; consideration will be given to candidates who have demonstrated a commitment to service within their community or country through participation in volunteer activities such as medical clinics, etc.
  9. The Drs. Ronald Dickson & Alexandra Dickson Scholarship: This award is given annually to an outstanding student from outside North America who is entering his or her first year at the University of British Columbia’s Faculty of Medicine. It is awarded based on academic merit and need for financial assistance; consideration will be given to candidates who have demonstrated a commitment to service within their community or country through participation in volunteer activities such as medical clinics, etc.
