Momeni is the owner of an information technology consulting company called Expand IT, where he has been working since April 2010.
Before this, he had worked as a consultant and systems engineer with various San Franciscobased companies, including Marfic and Coast Range Technologies, as stated on his LinkedIn page.
According to Momenis LinkedIn account, he lives in Emeryville, California, which is a Bay Area city located just north of Oakland.
Police also disclosed that the murder was neither a robbery attempt nor a random attack. Forbes has reached out to the San Francisco Police Department for confirmation.
Momeni is scheduled to be arraigned at 130 p.m.
One of Momenis neighbors in Emeryville has described him as a warm and welcoming person, telling the San Francisco Chronicle that he had a pool table and technology equipment in an apartment unit on Harlan Street.
In 2011, Nima Momeni was charged in Alameda County and this was because he was alleged to be selling a switchblade.
